kelty-noahs-16-foot-tarp
Kelty Noah's Tarp 16 Foot

The Kelty Noah's Tarp 16 is the largest of Kelty's three Noah's Tarps, a 488 x 488cm square that gives 23.78 square metres of cover. It is big enough to shade a group camp, a long dining table or a festival base.

The tarp is 68D polyester rated to 800mm with fully taped seams, so it works as a rain shelter as well as a sunshade. A sturdy guyline is attached at each corner with a storage pocket to keep it tidy, and multiple reinforced guyout points along the edges let you set it up virtually anywhere: between trees, on poles, as a lean-to or pitched low against the wind.

Poles are not included, so pitch it with Kelty Staff Poles, trekking poles or the trees around you. It weighs 1.79kg packed and packs to 35.6 x 25.4 x 8.9cm, which is very little for the amount of cover it gives. It stores in a roll-top carry bag.

Also from Kelty: the smaller Noah's Tarp 12 and Noah's Tarp 9, and the Waypoint Tarp, which attaches to your vehicle.

Key Features

16ft Coverage - 23.78 square metres of flat area

Fully Taped Seams - Rain-or-shine shelter

Reinforced Guyout Points - Multiple points to set up virtually anywhere

Attached Corner Guylines - Sturdy, with a handy storage pocket

800mm Fly Fabric - 68D polyester

Roll-Top Carry Bag - Stores and carries the tarp

Poles Sold Separately - Pitch with Kelty Staff Poles, trekking poles or trees

Ideal For

Group Camping - Shade over a shared kitchen and dining area

Festivals and Events - Big cover for the whole crew

Scout and Club Camps - A large, dry communal space

Beach Days - Sun cover for a big group

Technical Specifications

Brand

Kelty

Model

Noah's Tarp 16

Type

Shade and rain tarp

Dimensions

488 x 488 cm (16 x 16 ft)

Flat Area

23.78 m² (256 sq ft)

Packed Weight

1.79kg

Packed Size

35.6 x 25.4 x 8.9 cm

Fabric

68D polyester, 800mm, fully taped seams

Poles

Sold separately

Included

Attached corner guylines, roll-top carry bag

Warranty

1 year against manufacturing defects

Warranty

Kelty cover this tarp with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
