Amazonas Globo Single Brisa Hanging Egg Chair

The Globo Chair is the original single-seat hanging egg chair in the Amazonas Globo family - a padded sphere for one, and the narrower sibling of the two-person Globo Royal. Brisa is the navy colourway, a deep marine blue that reads as a colour choice rather than a neutral, sitting alongside Anthracite, Taupe, Verde, Oliva, Natura and Sahara.

The cover is Agora solution-dyed acrylic - soft as cotton but water-repellent, extremely fast drying, mould resistant and rated 7/8 for light fastness, so it holds its colour through a full summer outdoors. Padding is 100% polyester made from recycled materials including PET bottles. The frame is FSC-certified spruce from European forestry, impregnated in a dipping bath and layer-bonded by hand in Poland, with galvanised stainless fittings throughout.

One point on siting: the Globo is built for outdoor use. Its upholstery is not certified against the UK fire regulations that cover indoor furniture, so it should not be used inside the house.
