Task "Hampshire Sunset" Back Print Unisex T-Shirt

The Hampshire Sunset Back Print T-Shirt is a Task Outdoor original, and a bit of a love letter to our home county. Hampshire is where Task is based, and where most of our own walks start and finish, so this one is for everyone who knows these hills, heaths and villages as home. The print fills the back with a tall retro landscape at the end of a summer evening: a low sun sinking behind a rounded chalk down, with a clump of beech trees on the crest and a pale chalk track winding up the slope towards them.

Below the hill, a chalk stream winds through the fields to a little village of white cottages with red roofs and chimneys, gathered round a flint church tower, with an old stone bridge over the water and sheep grazing on the slopes. In the foreground is New Forest heathland, with tall Scots pines, a spreading oak, gorse and wild flowers, and two New Forest ponies, a mare and her foal, grazing at the bottom left. TASK is hand-lettered in cream across the scene, with Outdoor in script underneath and a small Task Outdoor shield on the flowers. Each letter has its own dark outline, so the design reads clearly on every shirt colour. The front is kept plain, so the whole scene is on show to whoever is walking behind you.

It is printed on a soft, lightweight Bella+Canvas 3001 unisex tee in 142 g/m² combed, ring-spun cotton (the heather colours are a cotton and polyester blend), pre-shrunk and cut to a regular fit, with a Task Outdoor label printed inside the neck instead of a scratchy tag. It comes in 13 colours in sizes S to 2XL. Each shirt is printed to order, so it takes a little longer to dispatch than our stock items.

Machine wash cold (30°C or below), inside out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Hang dry, or tumble dry on low. Do not iron directly on the print. Do not dry clean.
