SuperFire HL05-K

The SuperFire HL05-K is an ultralight sensor headlamp that weighs just 45 grams, which is roughly the weight of a small handful of change. The point of it is the wave sensor: hold a hand about 15cm in front of the lamp and it switches, so you can turn it on and off with full hands, wet hands or gloved hands without touching anything.

It puts out 120 lumens over a 100 metre beam, and runs white, yellow or red. Yellow cuts through mist and rain better than white; red preserves night vision and will not scatter off a tent wall. The ABS body is IP44 rated, and the built-in 500mAh cell charges over USB-C in about two hours for around four hours of use.
