Tracked Delivery From the UK to the USA
We ship every US order from our base in the UK using Royal Mail International Tracked, or International Tracked & Signed for some smaller items. Once your parcel arrives in the US, USPS takes over for the final delivery to your door.
Delivery Costs
Prices are shown in US dollars. Delivery to the US is priced by the weight of your parcel. The exact cost is shown in your cart and at checkout before you pay.
Free delivery offers on our site apply to UK orders only.
We can send parcels up to 5kg to the US. If your basket is heavier than that, checkout will not show a delivery option, so please email sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will help.
Estimated Delivery Times
Royal Mail aims to deliver to the US within 5 to 7 working days of dispatch. This is an estimate from Royal Mail and is not guaranteed.
Please allow extra time for remote and rural addresses, during busy periods such as Christmas, and if your parcel is selected for a customs check. Delivery times are counted from the point of dispatch, not the time the order is placed.
Same Day Dispatch: Before 2:30pm Monday to Friday, Before 11:30am Saturday (UK Time)
We aim to dispatch all orders the same day they are placed, Monday to Friday for orders placed before 2:30pm UK time, and Saturday for orders placed before 11:30am UK time. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on a Sunday, are dispatched on the next working day. No orders are dispatched on UK bank holidays, as there are no postal collections.
Tracking Your Parcel
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched. You can follow your parcel on the Royal Mail website, and once it has arrived in the US, on the USPS website too.
Import Duties Are Included
US import duties are already included in our prices. We send every US parcel with Royal Mail's duty-paid service, which pays the duty to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) before your parcel arrives. You will not be asked to pay duty or a customs clearance fee on delivery.
The price you see on the product page, plus the delivery cost shown at checkout, is what you pay.
Restricted Items
We do not ship knives, hatchets or other bladed items to the US.
Some other goods are also prohibited or restricted imports. If you are unsure about an item, check the CBP prohibited and restricted items page or ask us before you order.
