Nightfox Ember Night Vision Binoculars
Description
Description
The Ember is the most approachable device in the Nightfox range, built for anyone who wants usable night vision without a learning curve. Where the Nightfox Swift and Nightfox Prowl goggles are designed for hands-free head and helmet mounting, and the Nightfox Whisker is built around a long-throw 10x optical zoom, the Ember is a handheld binocular with one job: switch on, focus, and look. An automatic IR function brings the 850nm infrared LED in as darkness falls, so there is nothing to configure in the field.
A 3in IPS display sits behind an in-built convex lens, giving the visual effect of a 7in screen when held to the eyes. That makes it comfortable for glasses wearers and easy for younger users, while the 4x fixed optical magnification means it doubles as a daytime spotting scope. A pre-installed 32GB card captures stills and video at up to 4K resolution, and the 4000mAh battery runs for a full night's use.
