Nightfox XB5 Pro Infrared LED Torch - 940nm

The XB5 Pro 940nm is the covert, rechargeable infrared torch in the Nightfox line. It emits at 940nm, a wavelength that produces markedly less visible red glow than 850nm, so you can illuminate a scene without advertising your position. You accept a shorter working range in exchange for that concealment - a deliberate trade, and the right one if being seen is the thing you cannot afford.

Like the XB5 Pro 850nm, it arrives with a quality LG-cell 18650 3200mAh battery installed and charges over USB, so there is no separate cell to source. A 5W OSRAM emitter sits behind a focusable aspherical lens with Rapid Focus, taking the beam from a 120 degree flood to a tight long-throw spot. New circuitry gives a non-flickering beam, the body is aluminium and O-ring sealed to IPX-6, and it weighs 195g. Infrared light is invisible to the naked eye, so the XB5 Pro must be used with a night vision device.
