Petzl SWIFT® RL Headlamp - 1200 Lumens (2026 Version)

The SWIFT RL is Petzl's flagship dynamic-activity headlamp: 1200 lumens, 92 g, and a light sensor that reads the ambient conditions and adjusts brightness and beam pattern for you. REACTIVE LIGHTING means fewer button presses in the dark and a battery that lasts far longer than the raw output would suggest.

The split-construction headband is a Petzl patent, ultra-thin with removable comfort foam so you can trade padding for airflow. A double tap on the side of the lamp triggers six seconds of BOOST at full 1200 lumens for a tricky section of ground. The R2250 battery recharges via USB-C and keeps 90% of its burn time down to -5 C.
