Jack Pyke Rugby Shirt

The Jack Pyke Rugby Shirt takes the quartered rugby design and puts it in a country setting. The body, back and both sleeves are split into alternating panels of dark olive and dark brown, so the pattern reads from any angle rather than only from the front. At 80% cotton it is a cotton-rich shirt rather than a polyester one, which is what makes it comfortable to wear all day against the skin.

The collar is a proper rugby collar in contrast brown with a three-button placket, which is what lifts it above a plain sweatshirt for a shoot lunch or the pub. Cuffs are ribbed in contrast olive so the sleeves stay where you put them. A small woven JP tab sits at the foot of the placket and Jack Pyke taping runs inside the back neck. Long sleeved, and warm enough on its own from autumn through to early spring.
