At Task Outdoor we are proud to supply serving members of the Armed Forces, and we deliver to BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses in the UK and around the world. What is BFPO?
The British Forces Post Office provides a postal service to HM Forces personnel and their families, separate from Royal Mail. Each location has its own BFPO number and a matching UK-style postcode beginning with BF1, which lets you order from websites that might not otherwise recognise a forces address.
How to order to a BFPO address
Placing a BFPO order with us is straightforward if you follow these steps at checkout:
- Select the United Kingdom as your country, even if you are stationed overseas. BFPO addresses are treated as UK addresses.
- Use your billing address as registered to your card. Entering the billing address exactly as your bank holds it helps avoid payment authorisation problems.
- Add your BFPO address as a separate delivery address. Enter your BFPO number in the address line (for example, BFPO 16) and use the matching BF1 postcode for your location.

Dispatch and delivery times
Orders placed before 2:30pm Monday to Friday, or before 11:30am on Saturday, are dispatched the same working day. Once your parcel reaches BFPO, onward delivery to your location is handled by the British Forces Post Office and is outside our control, but it typically takes between 5 and 10 working days depending on where you are stationed.
Bladed and age-restricted items
Please note that we are unable to ship bladed items (such as knives and hatchets) or any other age-restricted products to BFPO addresses. These items can only be sent to a standard UK delivery address using our age-verified delivery service, which requires proof of age on receipt.
