A full 8cm of air-filled open-cell foam gives it genuine mattress-like cushioning, a soft stretch-knit top keeps you from sliding around, and an R-value of 5.6 insulates you from cold ground for year-round use. It self-inflates when you open the valve, and the included stuff sack doubles as a manual pump to firm it up exactly how you like it.
