The Jack Pyke Bleasdale Heavy Flannel Shirt is 100% brushed cotton, which is what separates it from the polycotton country shirts: heavier in the hand, softer against the skin, and warm enough to be the layer rather than the thing under it on a mild autumn day. It is a proper flannel check, in an olive and khaki Green or a navy and tan Navy Russet.
Two chest pockets sit under buttoned flaps rather than being open patches, with a small woven JP tab on the left one. The collar is button-down, which is what makes it work with a tie, and the cuffs fasten on a button so they close down or roll back. Under a gilet or a fleece it layers cleanly, and Jack Pyke build it to pair with the rest of their country range. S to 3XL.
