Highlander 282 Year Guarantee
Highlander is confident in the quality of its products and stands behind them. A selection of Highlander products are covered by the 282 Year Guarantee - one year for every Scottish Munro - against faults in workmanship and materials for the normal usable lifetime of the product. Not all Highlander products carry this guarantee; where it applies, it is stated on the product page.
Please note: Highlander Forces products and certain other lines carry a 1 year warranty only. Check the individual product page to confirm which warranty applies.
What does the 282 Year Guarantee cover?
The guarantee covers defects in workmanship and materials under normal individual use for the reasonable lifetime of the product. If a covered product develops a fault of this kind, Highlander will repair or replace it without charge. You must be the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase from an authorised Highlander dealer, and the damage must have been sustained through normal individual use.
What is not covered?
The guarantee does not cover: wear and tear through the normal lifespan of the product; damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident or negligence; failure to observe care instructions including incorrect laundering; damage caused by rips, cuts or tears; burns and abrasions; cosmetic damage including natural fading of colours; unauthorised modification or alteration; products with removed or defaced labels; counterfeit products; products purchased used or as-is without warranty; or any damages arising after the warranty period.
How to make a claim
Contact us at sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will handle your warranty claim with Highlander on your behalf. Before returning any item, please clean it and remove all personal belongings. Each case is assessed individually and the final decision is made on evaluation of the item.
