Orders & Dispatch
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 2:30pm Monday to Friday, or before 11:30am on Saturday, are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after these times, or on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, are dispatched the next working day.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will do our best to amend or cancel it. Once an order has been dispatched it is subject to our Returns & Exchanges policy.
Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes. You will receive a confirmation email when you place your order and a dispatch notification, with tracking where applicable, once it is on its way.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Delivery options, costs and estimated timescales are shown at checkout and explained in full on our Shipping Information page. Estimated delivery times run from the point of dispatch rather than the time of ordering.
Which couriers do you use?
We use Royal Mail, DPD and Parcelforce depending on the size, weight and value of your order, to make sure it arrives safely.
Do you deliver internationally?
Please see our Shipping Information page for current international delivery options. Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
Armed Forces & BFPO
Can you deliver to a BFPO address?
Yes. We are proud to support serving personnel and deliver to BFPO addresses. For how to enter your BFPO address correctly at checkout, along with the full list of BFPO numbers and postcodes, see our BFPO Numbers & Postcodes guide.
How long does BFPO delivery take?
Delivery times to BFPO addresses are outside our control, but typically take between 5 and 10 working days depending on the location.
Knives & Age-Restricted Items
Do I have to be over 18 to buy a knife or hatchet?
Yes. Bladed items such as knives and hatchets may only be sold to, and received by, persons aged 18 or over. When you order one of these items you will be asked to confirm you are 18 or over, and the order will be sent using an age-verified delivery service. What happens when my bladed item is delivered?
Age-restricted orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Age Verification or DPD Age Verification. The courier will ask for valid photo ID on delivery and will only hand the parcel to someone who can prove they are aged 18 or over. The parcel will not be left unattended or delivered to a locker.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
If items are unused and in their original packaging, we accept returns up to 100 days from purchase. Full details, including how to return an item and your statutory rights, are on our Returns & Exchanges page.

Please include a note inside your parcel with your full name, address and instructions (the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or exchange). No printed return form is needed.
How do I return an item?

When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are normally processed to your original payment method within 5 working days, though it can take a little longer to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card provider.
Sizing & Products
How do I find the right size?
Many of our products have a dedicated size guide. Look for the size guide link on the product page, which gives measurements to help you choose. If you are between sizes or unsure, contact us and we will be glad to advise.
Is an item that is out of stock coming back?
We restock regularly. If something you want is unavailable, contact us at sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will let you know whether and when it is expected back.

Do I need an account to order?
No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account simply makes it easier to track orders and check out more quickly next time.
Do you offer bulk, trade or unit orders?
Yes. We supply organisations and professionals across the UK. Please see our Specialist Procurement Service page or contact us with details of what you need.
