The Kelty Mistral Kids 20 is a proper three-season mummy sleeping bag scaled down for children up to 152cm (5ft). It is 175cm long, weighs 1.08kg, and the stuff sack carries a rating of -7C (20F), so it is a real step up from a sleepover bag for colder nights under canvas.
The insulation is recycled CloudLoft ECO, sewn in an offset quilt construction to stop cold spots, inside a durable recycled 68D polyester taffeta shell with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. A contoured hood fits naturally round a child's head, the natural-fit footbox leaves room to wriggle, and dual locking sliders with a full-length draft tube and anti-snag treatment make it easy to vent and easy for small hands to zip.
It packs into the included stuff sack at about 23 x 43cm for quick departures. This is the Woodthrush colourway: a golden-tan bag with a teal footbox and a pale mint lining.
