Sierra Designs Meteor 3000 2 Person Tent

The Sierra Designs Meteor 3000 2 is a fully freestanding two-person backpacking tent built around the 3000 series upgrade: a 68D polyester fly and floor both rated to 3000mm. It weighs 2.0kg at minimum and packs to 45.7 x 16.5cm, so it splits easily between two rucksacks.

Hubbed, pre-bent aluminium poles and a ridge pole pull the walls close to vertical, which puts the headroom where you sit up rather than only at the peak. The floor is 213 x 130cm with a 104cm peak, and two doors and two vestibules mean each person has their own way in and 0.84 square metres of covered space for boots and packs.

On clear nights the full-coverage fly rolls back to open the Moon Roof for airflow and a view of the sky. The colour-coded poles and matched webbing keep the pitch simple, and the whole tent rolls into a burrito-style bag for packing.

Warranty

Sierra Designs cover this tent against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime. Sierra Designs define lifetime as the reasonable lifetime of the product, taking into account its age and how it has been cared for and used, rather than the lifetime of the owner. If it fails because of a manufacturing defect, it will be repaired or replaced at Sierra Designs' discretion, free of charge. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk with your order number and a description of the fault. The tent may need to be returned for assessment, which can result in a short processing delay. Please keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
