DD Frontline Hammock

The DD Frontline Hammock is a versatile double-layer camping hammock with an integrated mosquito net, designed for year-round outdoor use across a wide range of climates and environments. The built-in ultra-fine mesh net and foldable spreader poles create a spacious, insect-protected interior that performs in both temperate woodland settings and insect-heavy tropical conditions.

Available in Forest Green and DD Multicam (MC) - the MC variant uses DD Hammocks' own Multicam pattern for effective concealment in woodland and field environments. It shares the same proven double-layer breathable base and pre-fitted 10m suspension webbing as the DD Camping Hammock, with the addition of the mosquito net, 2 spreader poles, elastic cord and 4 internal storage pockets. Note: this hammock is not waterproof; a DD tarp is required for overhead weather protection.

About This Hammock

The DD Frontline Hammock was developed for users who camp in environments where insect protection is a practical requirement rather than an optional extra. The ultra-fine integrated mosquito net is fine enough to exclude Scottish midges - one of the smallest and most persistent biting insects encountered in UK outdoor camping - making it effective against virtually any insects found in outdoor environments worldwide. The 60cm spreader poles hold the net open above the body, preventing the mesh from collapsing onto the face during sleep and maintaining a comfortable interior space.

The net offers three configurations: zipped closed for full insect protection, rolled back onto the spreader poles for open-air use, or the entire hammock can be flipped upside down so the net sits underneath for a completely open sleeping position. This flexibility makes the Frontline genuinely adaptable to different weather and insect conditions without requiring separate gear. The double-layer base retains the same versatility as the DD Camping Hammock for sleeping mat and underblanket compatibility across seasons. Pair it with any DD tarp for complete all-weather and insect protection.

Care Instructions

• To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently
• Store in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use
• Ensure all gear is completely dry before storing away
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C)
• Keep at least 2m away from flames and heat sources
• Do not machine wash - clean by hand only using lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken
• Children should be supervised when using this product

Warranty

DD Hammocks provide a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, covering products used within the parameters of reasonable use. Warranty Exclusions

• Stored away damp or at high temperature
• Machine washed or machine dried
• Used in direct conjunction with non-DD Hammocks products
• Used in extreme temperatures (above 40°C or below -15°C)
• Used above the maximum recommended weight limit or by more than one person at the same time
• Contact with sharp objects causing damage
• Natural degradation due to UV light or prolonged sunlight exposure
