The Snugpak Scorpion 3 IX™ WGTE is designed for users who require reliable shelter in exposed environments while keeping pack size and carry weight to a minimum. Its fly-first pitching system allows the tent to be erected quickly during poor weather conditions, helping minimise moisture exposure inside the shelter.
The tent’s angled low-profile shape improves aerodynamic performance in strong winds while helping reduce condensation build-up. Waterproof PU-coated fabrics with fully taped seams provide dependable protection against prolonged wet weather, making the Scorpion 3 IX™ suitable for year-round use.
Inside, the tent offers comfortable sleeping space for three users in a practical top-to-toe layout, while the large porch area provides protected storage for packs and equipment. Fine No-See-Um mesh improves airflow and protects against insects and debris in warmer environments.
Using lightweight anodised aluminium poles and durable ripstop materials, the Scorpion 3 IX™ achieves an excellent balance of strength, portability and weather resistance for backpacking, mountaineering, military operations and expedition travel.
