The Snugpak Self Inflating Maxi Mat is a full-length, lightweight self-inflating sleeping mat for camping, hiking and field use. Weighing 740g and packing to 28 x 15cm, it delivers 25mm of foam cushioning and insulation against cold and uneven ground in a format that fits inside most rucksacks without significant weight or volume cost.
The blow-and-lock valve allows the mat to self-inflate when unrolled — opening the valve lets the foam core draw in air automatically, with the option to top up by mouth and lock off to the preferred firmness level. On first use the foam may take several minutes to fully expand as the core relaxes after factory compression.
