Description
The Jack Pyke Wax Flat Cap is a traditional flat cap made from 375gsm British Millerain waxed cotton, the cloth used in serious field coats. That gives it genuine weather performance rather than just country looks: it sheds a shower, it cuts wind, and it keeps its shape rather than going limp after a wet season. The colour is a dark olive green.
The lining is cotton tartan, soft on the forehead and a proper traditional detail inside, and the Millerain label is sewn in alongside the Jack Pyke one. It is a sized cap rather than an adjustable one, running 57 to 61cm, so measure your head and buy that number. Re-waxing every so often keeps the shed working and extends its life considerably.
