Description
The Jack Pyke Newsboy Cap is an eight-panel baker boy cap in brown wool blend tweed with a fine blue overcheck running through it. The eight panels give it a fuller, rounder crown than a flat cap, which is the whole point of the shape: it sits with more presence and it suits a head that a low, slim flat cap does not.
Inside there is a diamond-quilted polyester lining, so it holds a bit of warmth as well as sitting comfortably on the forehead through a long day. The peak is curved and sewn in, keeping sun and drizzle off without the rigid brim of a formal cap. It is sized rather than adjustable, running 57 to 61cm, so measure round your head above the ears and buy that number.
