The Bolle Knox Sunglasses combine must-have style with certified durability and protection for active days outdoors. A sleek matte-black full frame holds Smoke CSP lenses that tame glare, optimise contrast and deliver top-notch UV defence.

A PLATINUM anti-scratch and anti-fog coating keeps vision crisp, and the eco-friendly frame is crafted from 28.6% bio-based polyamide to reduce raw-material CO2. Certified to EN166, EN172, CE, UKCA and ANSI Z87.1, it is supplied with a case, cloth and box.

The lens transmits 13% of visible light. That is an EN172 shade 5-3.1 sunglare filter, equivalent to a category 3 tint, built for strong sunlight and reflected glare. It is fine for daytime driving and is not intended for low light or night use. This is a plain Smoke tint and is not polarised.

Worth knowing before you buy. The Knox is a sunglare and safety lens, not a ballistic one. The frame is marked EN166 S, which is increased robustness, and the ANSI marking is Z87 with no plus, which is basic impact rather than high impact. Bolle publishes no ballistic or MIL-PRF rating for it. If you need a genuinely ballistic lens for range, military or airsoft use, the Bolle Tryon BSSI Ballistic Glasses, the Bolle Silex+ BSSI Ballistic Glasses and the Bolle Combat Ballistic Glasses Kit are all STANAG rated.
