DD Campervan Tarp - 2.5m x 2.5m

The DD Campervan Tarp is a purpose-built awning designed for campervans and van-based travel, giving you a lightweight, packable shelter that threads directly onto standard vehicle awning rails. It measures 2.5m x 2.5m, weighs 1120g and has been designed and tested around the VW California T6.1, though any van or awning system with 6mm or 8mm beading channels is supported.

Constructed from 190T polyester with a PU 3000mm waterproof coating and taped seams, it provides dependable weather protection as an overhead canopy for extra outdoor living space beside the van, as a side wall against wind and low-angle rain, or both at once for maximum coverage. Adjustable buckles secure it to the awning frame. Two poles support the outer edge during overhead use, one on each corner, with an optional third central pole to improve headroom and water runoff in heavy rain; poles are sold separately. Its compact packed size means it stores neatly inside the vehicle between trips. Available in Olive Green, it is backed by DD Hammocks' 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Care Instructions

• To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently
• Store in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use
• Ensure all gear (including cordage) is completely dry before storing away
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C)
• Keep away from fires and naked flames at all times
• Do not machine wash - clean by hand only using lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken
