DD Frontline Hammock

The DD Frontline Hammock is a versatile double-layer camping hammock with an integrated mosquito net, designed for year-round outdoor use across a wide range of climates. The built-in ultra-fine mesh net and two 60cm spreader poles create a spacious, insect-protected interior that performs in both temperate woodland and insect-heavy tropical conditions. The mesh is fine enough to exclude even Scottish midges, one of the smallest biting insects encountered in UK camping.

The net offers three configurations: zipped closed for full insect protection, rolled back onto the spreader poles for open-air use, or the whole hammock flipped over so the net sits underneath for a fully open sleeping position. It shares the same breathable double-layer base and pre-fitted 10m suspension webbing as the DD Camping Hammock, adding the net, spreader poles, elastic cord and four internal pockets; a partially inflated sleeping mat can be slid between the layers through a velcro tab closure for insulation in cooler weather. This hammock is not waterproof, so a DD tarp is required for overhead weather protection. Available in Olive Green, Forest Green and DD Multicam (MC), with the MC variant using DD Hammocks' own Multicam pattern for concealment in woodland and field environments. It is backed by DD Hammocks' 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Care Instructions

• To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently
• Store in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use
• Ensure all gear is completely dry before storing away
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C)
• Keep at least 2m away from flames and heat sources
• Do not machine wash - clean by hand only using lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken

Safety Information

• Check all suspension cordage is in good condition before use and ensure all knots are secure
• Remove any sharp objects from the area beneath the hammock before entering
• Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 125kg
• Do not set up the hammock too low to the ground; check beneath for any sharp objects
