DD Tarp XL - 4.5m x 3m

The DD Tarp XL is the rectangular large-format option in the DD Hammocks tarp range, measuring 4.5m x 3m and shaped for hammock camping where extra length matters. The longer 4.5m dimension gives excellent end-to-end coverage along a hammock or shelter run, while the 3m width keeps pack weight manageable at 1100g.

Constructed from 190T polyester with a PU 3000mm waterproof coating and taped central seam, it suits hammock campers, scout groups, small camping parties and solo users who want genuinely spacious overhead cover. The rectangular shape works especially well in A-frame configuration, where the length covers the full run of the hammock and the width keeps both sides sheltered from wind and rain; it is also large enough to cover two side-by-side hammocks. Available in Olive Green and DD Multicam (MC), with the MC variant using DD Hammocks' own Multicam pattern for concealment in woodland and upland environments. It is backed by DD Hammocks' 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Care Instructions

• To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently
• Store in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use
• Ensure all gear (including cordage) is completely dry before storing away
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C)
• Keep away from fires and naked flames at all times
• Do not machine wash - clean by hand only using lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken
