Pentagon Tactical 2.0 Rip-Stop Cap

The Pentagon Tactical 2.0 is the patch cap, built to carry identification rather than to be looked at. The shell is a 215gsm polycotton rip-stop canvas, the same grid-woven fabric Pentagon uses on the BDU and ACU trousers, so a snag on a branch or a strap stops at the next thread instead of running.

Three hook-and-loop panels do the work. A large loop panel across the front takes a flag, name tape or morale patch and ships with a tonal Pentagon patch already on it. There is a further panel at the rear, and an IR panel on the crown for identification markers that read under night vision. Everything comes off, so the cap goes from unit-marked to entirely plain in seconds.

Underneath, a six-panel crown is held in shape by a stiffening plate at the base, which is the difference between a cap that still looks right after a year and one that goes soft and shapeless. Two metal eyelets on each side vent heat, the peak is curved with a contrast under-brim, and the rear adjusts on a hook-and-loop strap.

Pentagon covers this product for 6 months from the date of purchase against proven manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Products may need to be returned for inspection, which can result in a short processing delay. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
