The Kydex Customs 1911 Magazine Carrier is a robust, professional-grade mag pouch engineered to securely carry 1911 pistol magazines across duty, training and airsoft environments. Designed to accommodate real steel 9mm and .45 ACP magazines as well as airsoft 1911 magazines (including CO2-powered types), it offers broad compatibility in a compact, dependable format.
Each carrier is fitted with an integrated MRD (Magazine Retention Device), which applies adjustable pressure to the front of the magazine. This system allows the carrier to retain the magazine with the ideal balance of security and draw speed, without relying on bungees, flaps or Velcro.
Retention is adjusted via the silver grub screw located on the side of the carrier. By tightening or loosening this screw using a 1/8” Allen (hex) key, the user can fine-tune resistance to suit individual preferences and operational requirements.
For consistent indexing and reliable reloads, magazines are designed to be inserted into the carrier in one fixed orientation. This ensures repeatable muscle memory and dependable access under pressure.
