The Kydex Customs 7.62 NATO Magazine Carrier is a versatile, professional-grade solution for carrying .308 / 7.62 NATO rifle magazines. Designed to accommodate a wide range of real steel and airsoft magazines, including SCAR-H, M14, SR25 and AR10 platforms, it is well suited to military-style training, tactical use and airsoft MilSim environments.

Unlike traditional nylon magazine pouches that rely on Velcro flaps or elastic retention, this carrier uses a passive Kydex retention system to grip the magazine body securely. Multiple adjustable retention points allow the user to fine-tune resistance, balancing magazine security with smooth, repeatable reloads.

Retention is adjusted using the screws positioned along the outer edge of the carrier. Tightening or loosening these screws with a Phillips head screwdriver increases or reduces the grip on the magazine. Once the desired retention is set, the use of Threadlock or Loctite is recommended to prevent screws loosening during prolonged use.

The carrier supports ambidextrous configuration and allows magazines to be carried facing either forwards or backwards. The mounting platform can be repositioned for left- or right-side use, and identical carriers can be joined together to create a compact double-stack setup for efficient use of belt or MOLLE space.

Mounting Options

• MALICE Clips – Injection-moulded, heavy-duty clips designed for secure attachment to MOLLE platforms or belts. Once closed, they remain locked until intentionally disengaged with a flat-tipped tool.
• DCL Combat Loop – Adjustable and highly durable belt mount with an integrated locking mechanism, suitable for belts up to 2 inches wide.
• Shooters Belt Mount – Designed for two-piece shooter belts, constructed from layered laser-cut Curv and 3M One-Wrap to fit belts up to 2.25 inches with no lateral movement.
• Low Profile Belt Slider – Ultra-lightweight, low-profile Curv mount available for 1.5", 1.75" and 2" belts, ideal for covert or plain-clothes use.

Kydex Colours & Cordura Wrapping

This magazine carrier is available in a full range of coloured Kydex options. Colours are blended to match Cordura fabrics used across the range, ensuring a consistent appearance with existing equipment.

Optional 500D or 1000D Cordura wrapping is genuine and NIR compliant, reducing reflectivity under night vision and minimising noise when contacting other equipment. In areas of complex geometry, such as the front fold, slight fabric lift may occur; this does not affect fitment or functionality.
