The Kydex Customs Hi-Capa Magazine Carrier is a robust, purpose-built magazine pouch designed to securely retain Hi-Capa magazines for airsoft, training and competitive shooting environments. Built for users who require fast access and consistent retention, it offers a clean and reliable alternative to traditional nylon magazine pouches.
Each carrier is equipped with Kydex Customs’ MRD (Magazine Retention Device), which applies adjustable pressure to the front of the magazine. This allows the user to fine-tune retention strength, ensuring magazines are held securely while still enabling a smooth, repeatable draw.
Retention is adjusted using the silver grub screw located on the side of the carrier. By tightening or loosening the screw with a 1/8” Allen key (hex key), the carrier’s grip on the magazine can be increased or reduced to suit individual preference and operational requirements.
For reliable feeding and consistent indexing during reloads, the magazine is designed to be inserted into the carrier in one specific orientation only. This ensures predictable handling during high-tempo drills, skirmishes or competition stages.
