DD S Tarp - 2.8m x 1.5m

The DD Tarp S is the most compact tarp in the DD Hammocks core range, designed for solo bivi camping, quick shelter stops and lightweight travel where keeping pack weight down is the priority. At just 2.8m x 1.5m and 450g, it packs away small enough to disappear inside a rucksack while still providing dependable waterproof cover in the field.

Made from 190T polyester with a PU 3000mm waterproof coating and a taped central seam, it performs reliably in wet weather, with UV50+ sun protection and 19 reinforced attachment points for adaptable pitching in lean-to, A-frame or bivi configurations. Because of its size it is not intended as a dedicated hammock shelter; a DD Tarp 3x3 or larger provides the overhead coverage a hammock needs. Supplied with 4 pegs, guy lines and a drawcord stuff sack, it is ready to pitch straight away. Available in Olive Green, it is backed by DD Hammocks' 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Care Instructions

• To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently
• Store in a cool, dry and dark place when not in use
• Ensure all gear (including cordage) is completely dry before storing away
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C)
• Keep away from fires and naked flames at all times
• Do not machine wash - clean by hand only using lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken

• Ensure the tarp is securely pitched and the guy lines are pegged out before relying on it for shelter
