DD Hammocks Warranty
DD Hammocks provide a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, covering products used within the parameters of reasonable use. Where a covered product develops a fault of this kind, DD Hammocks will repair or replace it. Task Outdoor handles warranty claims on your behalf.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal, reasonable use for one year from the original date of purchase. Reasonable use does not include damage caused by misuse, abuse, modification, improper storage or normal wear and tear. Items listed under Warranty Exclusions below are not covered.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage from: storing the product damp or at high temperature; machine washing or machine drying; use in direct conjunction with non-DD Hammocks products; use in extreme temperatures (above 40°C or below -15°C); hammocks or suspension used above the maximum recommended weight limit or by more than one person at once; contact with sharp objects; and natural degradation from UV light or prolonged sunlight exposure.
How to make a claim
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk. Products may need to be returned for inspection, which can result in a short processing delay. Please clean the item and remove any personal belongings before returning it, and contact us before shipping anything back.
Care Instructions
Dry the product fully after use and store it in a cool, dry, dark place. Avoid folding along the same lines repeatedly - vary the folds or stuff the product into its sack. Avoid extreme temperatures (above 40°C or below -15°C). Keep at least 2m from flames and heat sources. Do not machine wash; clean by hand with lukewarm water. Prolonged UV exposure can weaken the material over time.
Safety Information
Keep all products and cordage clear of fires, naked flames and heat sources. Supervise children at all times during use. Ensure the surrounding area is free of hazards such as sharp objects and unstable ground.
For hammocks and suspension: check all suspension cordage, webbing and knots before every use, do not exceed the maximum recommended weight limit, do not use with more than one person at a time, and do not hang too low to the ground.
