The Sierra Designs Flex Trail 40-60 is an ultralight backpacking pack in Wild Dove / Peat that lets you size it to the trip. Horizontal gussets cinch it down to about 40 litres for shorter outings or open it out for longer ones, with a measured range of 39 to 56 litres.
A lightweight aluminium perimeter frame keeps the pack stable while holding the weight to 1.23kg, and a hardware-based adjustable torso fits 39 to 53cm. It carries best between 7 and 20kg, and is made from 150D polyester ripstop with 420D polyester.
A large front stretch mesh Shove-It pocket takes a jacket or the day's layers. There are two zippered hip belt pockets and two stretch mesh side pockets for bottles, plus a U-shaped top zip and a zip stash pocket in the lid.

Sierra Designs cover this rucksack against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime. Sierra Designs define lifetime as the reasonable lifetime of the product, taking into account its age and how it has been cared for and used, rather than the lifetime of the owner. If it fails because of a manufacturing defect, it will be repaired or replaced at Sierra Designs' discretion, free of charge. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk with your order number and a description of the fault. The rucksack may need to be returned for assessment, which can result in a short processing delay. Please keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
