The Highlander Blackthorn 1+ Gen2 is a solo backpacking tent designed for campers who need a full-length, roomy sleeping space without moving to a two-person tent. The low-profile tunnel construction keeps it stable in exposed conditions and compact enough for bikepacking and multi-day routes, while the larger inner dimensions of 255 x 105 x 83cm give meaningful extra headroom and width compared to a standard solo tent. At 2.1kg it is a practical option for taller campers, for solo adventurers who carry a larger sleeping bag and mat, or for anyone who simply prefers more room to settle in after a long day on the trail. The 190T polyester flysheet is rated to 2000mm with taped seams, and a fully sewn-in 190T polyester groundsheet rated to 3000mm keeps moisture out from below. An integrated bug net, internal hanging line, fire-retardant materials and 6.9mm fibreglass poles with eyelet-and-buckle fixing complete the package.
