Highlander Eagle 2 Rucksack 30L

The Highlander Eagle 2 Rucksack is a 30L tactical daysack built for military, tactical and outdoor use. Sharing the same 600D XTP fabric construction, MOLLE webbing and clamshell opening as the Eagle 1, it adds 10 litres of capacity, a rapid exterior zip access point for fast entry, and a padded hip belt with zippered admin pocket. Available in Black, Ranger Green, Grey and HMTC Camo. Weighs 1050g.

The Eagle 2 sits a step up from the Eagle 1 in Highlander's Eagle range - same construction, same feature set, but with 10 additional litres of capacity that makes it better suited to longer day use, training exercises and patrols where more kit needs to be carried. The extra volume also makes it a practical choice for hiking and camping day trips where the Eagle 1's 20L feels limiting.

The rapid exterior zip adds a fast-access point not present on the Eagle 1 - useful for items that need to be retrieved quickly without opening the main clamshell. The padded hip belt with zippered admin pocket transfers weight onto the hips for extended carry, and provides quick access to a compass, phone or small items without removing the pack. The detachable internal organiser and MOLLE webbing give the same flexibility as the Eagle 1, keeping the base pack lean while allowing expansion when the task requires it.

At 1050g it is 300g heavier than the Eagle 1, which is a reasonable trade-off for the additional capacity. The HMTC Camo colour option and hook and loop ID panel make it suitable for military and cadet use alongside the civilian colour options.
