Task Outdoor is a small independent retailer based in the UK, shipping camping, hiking and tactical gear to Australia. We stock British and European brands that hold up in the field: Highlander, Snugpak, Jack Pyke, Viper Tactical, Pentagon, Mil-Tec, Stoirm, Vango and DD Hammocks among them.
The range is curated rather than exhaustive. We stock gear we would carry ourselves. That means a sleeping system for a frosty night in the high country, load carry for time out bush, wet weather gear for working on the land, and a first tent for a Duke of Ed Adventurous Journey. Who we serve: serving and ex-ADF personnel, cadets and their parents, emergency services (SES and rural fire volunteers included), security professionals, bushwalkers, campers, bushcrafters, hunters, and anyone who spends real time outdoors.
Prices on this site are in Australian dollars. Order before 2:30pm UK time, Monday to Friday, and your order leaves our UK warehouse that day. The time difference helps you here: anything you order during the Australian working day reaches us before that cut-off. You'll see delivery options and costs for your address in the cart before you pay.
Returns stay open for 100 days, on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where sizing is a judgement call, the product page has a size guide, so you can get the fit right before it travels.
