Pentagon Epos Backpack 40L

The Pentagon Epos 40 is a 40 litre tactical rucksack built around one idea: you decide the layout, not the manufacturer. The entire main compartment is lined with loop fabric, so hook-backed pouches, organisers and admin panels stick anywhere inside it and move whenever your task changes. Outside, MOLLE/PALS webbing runs across the front, both sides and the lid, so the same logic applies to the exterior.

The body is 100% 500D nylon sewn with bonded nylon thread, running YKK® zips and DuraFlex UTX® buckles. Access is through a full front zip, with a multi-function admin pocket on the front face, a utility pocket in the lid, and hook-and-loop anchor points at the top front so the panel can be opened quickly one-handed. The side pockets are pleated and enlarged, with a tunnel elastic band that holds a water bottle or a tube in place rather than letting it work loose.

Carrying it is handled by Pentagon's Y-psilon shoulder harness, which splits the load across the shoulders rather than hanging it off two straight straps, and a back panel of 3D spacer mesh cut with ventilation channels so air moves between the pack and your back. Hydration is built in, taking a bladder up to 3 litres with a tube exit port on the back panel. The waist straps tuck into a hidden pocket when you would rather not wear them.

Pentagon covers this product for 6 months from the date of purchase against proven manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If you think you have a warranty claim, contact sales@taskoutdoor.co.uk and we will handle it for you rather than sending you to the manufacturer. Products may need to be returned for inspection, which can result in a short processing delay. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
