Amazonas Brasil Gigante Lava Hammock Chair

The Brasil Gigante is the XXXL of the Amazonas Brasil hanging chair family - very probably the biggest hanging chair made. Where the standard Brasil chairs seat one comfortably, the Gigante's 200 x 140 cm surface is closer to a hammock than a chair, with room for two adults or one person fully stretched out. Lava is its warm red and orange colourway, alongside Gigante Esmeralda and Gigante Cafe.

It is handwoven in Brazil under fair working conditions from an extra-dense 400 g/m2 fabric of at least 85% recycled cotton, soft against the skin but rated to 200 kg. Numerous suspension cords spread the load evenly for a weightless feel, anchored to double five-fold sewn eyelets, and a 140 cm FSC-certified German beech spreader bar with notched ends keeps the cords fixed and the seat open.
