Amazonas Brasil Rainbow Hammock Chair

The Brasil is the XL single-seat hanging chair in the Amazonas Brazilian range, the little brother of the two-person Brasil Gigante. At 160 x 130 cm it is almost as large as a lying hammock but keeps a traditional chair shape, so you sit upright and supported rather than lying flat. Rainbow is its full-spectrum striped colourway, sitting alongside Papaya, Mocca, Acerola, Lemon, Grenadine, Oliva, Black, Cappuccino and the undyed Natura.

Each chair is handwoven in Brazil under fair working conditions from an extra-dense 400 g/m2 fabric of at least 85% recycled cotton. Numerous suspension cords spread your weight evenly for a near-weightless feel, anchored to double five-fold sewn eyelets, and a 110 cm FSC-certified German beech spreader bar with notched ends holds the cords in place and the seat open.
