What is Softie insulation?

Softie is Snugpak's own synthetic insulation, developed as a lightweight, packable alternative to down. It uses fine bonded fibres to trap warm air for a soft, down-like feel, and it holds much of its warmth even when damp. You will find it across Snugpak's Sleeping Bags and insulated jackets.

Are Snugpak products made in the UK?

Some are. A number of Snugpak's sleeping bags and insulated jackets are designed and made at its West Yorkshire factory, where Snugpak remains one of the few sleeping bag manufacturers left in Britain and across Europe. Not all of the range is UK-made, however, so if UK manufacture matters to you, check the individual product page before buying.
