The right bar depends on how much of it you want to carry. This collection runs from a 3 in pocket pry bar to a 36 in full-size Hooligan bar, with titanium, steel and adjustable options in between, for fire and rescue crews, emergency responders and trades who need controlled access to doors, gates, grilles and fixtures.
The full-size bars are the 30" Hooligan Bar and 36" Hooligan Bar, forged high alloy steel heads on a stress-proof bar with claws, Duckbill and pike, built for fire and rescue work. The titanium range keeps the same Hooligan geometry at a fraction of the weight, from the 32 g 4" Titanium Hooligan Bar through the 8" and 12" to the Titanium Hooligan Bar Bundle of all three. For the pocket or the RTC jacket there is the paracord-wrapped Mini Pry Bar, and the Adjustable Pry Bar puts a rotating CRV steel head on an 8 in bar. Where a door can be opened rather than forced, the Deadbolt Bypass Tool works on thumb turn locks, and the spring-loaded Heavy Duty Glass Breaker Punch clears tempered vehicle and building glass.

Pick on length first. Longer bars give more reach and leverage but need a vehicle locker or kit bag, while the smaller bars go in a pocket, pouch or tunic and are there when the big tools are not. What is the difference between a Hooligan bar and a Halligan bar?
They are the same tool. Halligan is the name most people search for, and Hooligan is the name used by many UK suppliers. Both describe a bar with a claw at one end and a Duckbill (adze) and pike at the other.
Steel or titanium?
The steel bars are the full-size working tools, at 30 in and 36 in. The titanium bars are much smaller and lighter, from 32 g for the 4" to 312 g for the 12", so they suit carry on the person where a full-size bar would never go.
Which size should I choose?
For fire and rescue appliance use, the 30" or 36" steel bar. For carry on the person, the Mini Pry Bar or the 4" Titanium in a pocket, the 8" in a pouch, and the 12" in a kit bag or tunic.
