Description
The Snugpak Stratosphere WGTE Bivvi Shelter is an ultra-lightweight one-person waterproof shelter for users who require dependable weather protection while maintaining the smallest possible pack size and weight. Combining the packability of a bivvy bag with the structure and comfort of a lightweight tent, it suits wild camping, military field use, bushcraft and fast-moving outdoor travel.
The outer is 50D nylon ripstop with a 5000mm HH waterproof PU coating and breathability rated to 5000g/m²/24hrs, with taped seams throughout. The bathtub-style groundsheet steps up to 70D nylon taffeta with an 8000mm HH rating for enhanced protection against wet ground. A roll-away No-See-Um mosquito net and rear mesh ventilation panel improve airflow and comfort, while the full-length side zip provides flexible access and ventilation control. 8.5mm aluminium poles with screw lock tips keep the structure light and secure in exposed conditions.
