Vango Sunlight Air Awning/Canopy for Campervans

The Sunlight Air is Vango's 2-in-1 AirBeam® awning for low-height campervans. Zip the doors on for an enclosed, more traditional awning when the weather turns, or zip them off and it becomes an open sun canopy for a relaxed day in the shade. It is made for campers who want flexible shade on short trips and more shelter on longer stays.

A single inflatable AirBeam® with pre-angled beams forms the frame, so there are no poles to thread and it pitches in around six minutes. A manual pump is included, and an electric pump is available separately. The beams' angle gives more internal space than a standard curve and braces the awning effectively against the wind.

The fabric is Vango's Sentinel Active 150D polyester, waterproof to 4000mm HH with fully taped seams and ColourLok™ Eco technology for better colour retention. It fits an attachment height of 180 to 210cm. Vango's vehicle height guide lists vans such as the VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom and Vauxhall Vivaro for this height. Always measure from the ground to your attachment point, as pop-tops, suspension and load can change it. The built-in dual 4mm and 6mm kador connects to your vehicle's rail or to various makes of wind-out canopy awning.

Warranty

Vango covers this awning with a two year user warranty against manufacturing faults in the fabrics, component parts and workmanship. Register the awning with Vango within six months of purchase and the cover extends to three years. Keep your receipt, as proof of purchase is needed for an extended claim. Start any claim with us and we will handle the return to Vango on your behalf. Products must be sent back clean and dry, or they may be returned uninspected.

The warranty covers normal, intended use. It does not cover general wear and tear, fabric flaws caused by excessive wear, damage from excessive winds or weather, water ingress from UV degradation or abraded seams, zips broken by forcing or jamming, over-tensioned seams pulling apart, buckles subjected to undue force, an overloaded carry bag, or condensation caused by insufficient ventilation. AirBeam® punctures and any resulting damage are treated as fair wear and tear rather than a warranty fault; replacement beams are available through Vango's spares service.
