Your UK Camping, Hiking & Tactical Gear Store
Task Outdoor is a small independent UK retailer of camping, hiking and tactical gear. We stock brands that hold up in the field: Highlander, Snugpak, Jack Pyke, Viper Tactical, Pentagon, Mil-Tec, Stoirm, Vango and DD Hammocks among them.
The range is curated rather than exhaustive. We stock kit we would carry ourselves. That means a sleeping system for a cold night out, load carry for time on ex, waterproofs for countryside work, a first tent for a DofE expedition. If you want the spec rather than the sales pitch, it is on the product page. If you would rather ask, the team knows the range.
Who we serve: serving and ex-forces personnel, cadets and their parents, emergency services and security professionals, wild campers, bushcrafters, shooters, and anyone who spends real time outdoors. We ship BFPO worldwide, which most retailers will not touch.
Order before 14:30 Monday to Friday, and 11:00 on a Saturday, and it goes out the same day. Returns stay open for 100 days, exchanges are straightforward, and there are size guides on the pages where sizing is a judgement call.
We also run a Specialist Procurement Service for units, forces, emergency services and production buyers, covering purchase orders, tenders and sourcing beyond our catalogue.
