What makes them so good?

The point of a Real Meal bar is that it is a proper meal, not a sugary snack. Each one carries over 600 calories built around slow-release carbohydrate with protein and fat alongside, so you get steady energy for hours rather than a spike and a crash. The bars are vegan, gluten-free, high in fibre and a source of protein, made from natural, recognisable ingredients. They are dense and satisfying, and they tend to sit well deep into a long effort when heavier food starts to feel like hard work.

There are four flavours, each with its moment. Blueberry & Almond is the lighter one, easiest to eat on a hot trail. Cacao & Peanut Butter is the rich, protein-heavy option. Double Espresso & Hazelnut carries 160mg of caffeine, about the same as a double espresso, for an afternoon lift. Pink Himalayan Salted Caramel is the sweet-and-salty pick that also puts a few minerals back.

The Double Espresso & Hazelnut bar contains around 160mg of caffeine, roughly a double espresso, which makes it the one to save for a mid-afternoon or pre-summit lift. The other three flavours are caffeine-free.
