Jack Pyke Ashcombe Trousers

The Jack Pyke Ashcombe Trousers are made from Nyco bonded with a TPU membrane, rated at 5000mm waterproof and 3000g/m2 breathability. That is enough to keep sustained rain out while still letting air move, which is what stops a waterproof turning clammy over a long day on the hill.

The waist is the detail worth knowing about. It is cut to an extended height so it sits higher at the back, which keeps you covered when you crouch, kneel or bend into cover, and an integrated grip band holds it in position rather than letting it ride down. There are belt loops and a metal D-ring on a tab at the front.

Four pockets: two zipped hand pockets, one flapped thigh pocket on a press stud, and one zipped rear pocket. The zip pulls are branded Jack Pyke and there is a woven JP tab on the thigh. Panels of a heavier, matte cloth run over the knees, down the shins and across the seat. Olive brown, S to 3XL.
