Highlander Outdoor & Forces covers most of what a weekend in the hills actually asks for, and the range here runs from shelter through to socks. Tents start with the one-person Blackthorn Gen2, a low-profile design that pitches fast on exposed ground, and go up to the Respite tunnel tents with an extended porch for cooking out of the rain. Sleeping kit follows the same logic: self-inflating Kip mats from 30mm to 75mm thick, Nap-Pak inflatables insulated for cold ground, and fleece or cotton liners that add warmth to a bag you already own.

Rucksacks are the deepest part of the range. Kynetik daysacks at 15L, 20L and 25L suit a hill walk or the commute. Ivar and Ben Nevis packs sit in the 25L to 65L bracket with proper hip belts for multi-day loads. The Forces Elite series, 33L up to 88L, keeps the MOLLE panels and side pockets that cadets and airsoft players look for. Capacity is listed in litres on every product, so match the pack to how long you are out rather than to how much you can carry.

Clothing works the same way. HMTC is Highlander's own camo pattern, close enough in palette to sit alongside issued MTP. The Cyclone Pro and Typhoon waterproofs handle a soggy Lakeland ridge, and thermal base layers, headovers and Norwegian socks deal with the cold end of the year.
