The Terrain is a contemporary interpretation of the classic 20th Century service issue watch. The Terrain Black Cat.4 edition is inspired by original 1960s Vietnam-era watch design specifications, featuring a fully automatic 24-jewel movement and a non-reflective black PVD-plated case.

Designed around purpose, performance, and planet, the Rotate North Terrain delivers a faithful modern take on the military service watches of the mid-20th century. Its compact black PVD-coated case and highly legible dial create a clean, understated tool-watch aesthetic.
The black dial is protected by authentic plexiglass/acrylic and paired with luminous hands and markers for reliable readability in varied lighting conditions. Comfortable enough for everyday wear, the Terrain is equally suited to demanding outdoor use.
Water-resistant to 5 ATM (50 metres), the Terrain is suitable for hiking, climbing, and wild swimming. Its lightweight construction and restrained proportions make it an easy, practical watch for daily wear.
Movement
The Terrain Black is powered by a self-winding NH35A automatic movement, operating at 21,600 beats per hour with 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours when fully wound.
Powered entirely by the wearer’s arm movement, this mechanical calibre requires no battery. It is robust, highly serviceable, and designed for generations of active use.
Case & Construction
The 316L stainless steel case is finished in non-reflective black PVD and fitted with a screw-down crown and pressurised screw-down caseback. The compact case profile offers durability without excess bulk, remaining true to classic service watch proportions.
Strap
Finished in plain black, the Terrain is supplied with a fast-drying ballistic nylon G10 NATO strap. Easily removable and washable, the strap is designed to dry within minutes and remain secure under demanding conditions.
Durable, breathable, and comfortable for everyday wear, the strap is completed with satin-finish black PVD-coated stainless steel fittings and buckle.
