Ironclad General Utility Gloves
Goes well with

The Ironclad General Utility Gloves are the glove the company was built on, in production for over twenty years and still the default choice for people who want one pair that handles everything. A reinforced synthetic suede palm carries the work, and the grip figures are the interesting part: 4/5 dry, 3.5/5 wet and 4.5/5 oily. Most work gloves grip worst when things get greasy. This one grips best, which is why it has stayed on so many tool belts through engine bays, workshops and wet site work.
Command™ touchscreen coverage runs across three digits rather than one, so the thumb, index and middle finger all work a phone or tablet without the glove coming off. The patented Hybrid Safety Cuff gives a secure fit with quick access and fast removal, thumb saddle reinforcement doubles the material where a work glove wears through first, and a breathable nylon back keeps heat down over a long shift. The whole glove is 100% machine washable and hang dries, and is covered by a full 12-month warranty against faults in materials and workmanship, where 90 days is the norm across the category.
Key Features
- Reinforced Synthetic Suede Palm - Rated 4/5 dry, 3.5/5 wet and 4.5/5 oily, so grip improves rather than fails in grease

Safety Information
Match the glove to the task. The EN 388 rating of 2132X carries no impact mark, so the low-profile knuckle panel is padding rather than certified impact protection. The ANSI A2 cut level is suited to general handling rather than blade work, and cut-resistant does not mean cut-proof.
Read the EN 407 rating carefully. X1XXXX means only one of the six thermal tests was performed: contact heat at level 1, the lowest of four levels. Burning behaviour, convective heat, radiant heat and molten metal splash are all untested and marked X. This is not a heat-resistant glove and must not be used for handling hot work.
Check the stated ratings before use and do not exceed them. Inspect for wear before each use and replace when damaged. Keep hands clear of moving machinery where a glove could be caught.
