Snugpak Bunker IX WGTE Tent

The Snugpak Bunker IX WGTE is a four-season, three-person dome tent built for expeditions, mountaineering, basecamp life and military use. Its fly-first pitch and opposing aluminium pole design let you raise the shelter fast and keep it stable when the weather turns, with the flysheet going up first so the inner stays dry while you pitch. A 5000mm hydrostatic head flysheet and groundsheet, both PU coated with taped seams, hold off sustained rain and snow, well clear of the 1500mm point generally considered waterproof.

Inside, the 245 x 205cm floor sleeps three, or two with room for kit, and a No-See-Um mesh inner at 1600 holes per square inch keeps bugs out while air still moves through. The 7001 anodised aluminium poles are light and strong, and the tent splits into shareable loads so a group of three can spread the 3.52kg between them. It packs to 45 x 20cm and arrives complete with 19 alloy Y-stakes, a repair kit and a compression bag.
