Highlander Hirta Tactical Fleece Top

The Highlander Hirta Tactical Fleece is a lightweight insulating layer built for cold-weather military, tactical and outdoor use. Constructed from 200gsm 100% polyester grid fleece, it delivers a high warmth-to-weight ratio while remaining breathable and fast-wicking when output is high. Grid fleece achieves this by trapping warm air in the open cells of its woven structure rather than relying on thick, heavy fabric - giving you the same insulation as a much bulkier layer in a fraction of the weight and pack size. A quarter-length neck zip with stand-up collar gives adjustable temperature control, elasticated cuffs reduce heat loss at the wrist, and a laser-cut stretch chest pocket keeps essentials secure with a low profile. A hook-and-loop sleeve patch accommodates ID, unit or morale patches. The Hirta works equally well as a standalone mid-season outer or as an insulating layer beneath a waterproof or tactical shell. Customer feedback indicates this fleece can run slightly small - sizing up is recommended if you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit for layering.
